June -- STAYBRIDGE SUITES and spec industrial building, with key tenant FASTENAL CORP., held groundbreaking ceremonies.
June -- AURORA MEDICAL CENTER: Ceremonial placement of the final steel beam, an important construction milestone. The 110-bed hospital and clinic are expected to open in early 2010.

June -- HILTON GARDEN INN celebrated its Grand Opening in Village Square at Pabst Farms.
Sept -- AURORA MEDICAL CENTER: construction began on a 110-bed, full-service hospital and clinic in the Health & Wellness Campus at Pabst Farms.
2006
Nov -- HILTON GARDEN INN broke ground on a three-story 100-guest suite hotel in Village Square at Past Farms. It is scheduled to open in June, 2007.
Oct -- M&I Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and VIP celebration as part of its GRAND OPENING as the new anchor of the mixed-use Village Square at Pabst Farms.
Oct -- SENTRY EQUIPMENT CORP, employee-owned manufacturer of sampling systems, automatic samplers and specialty heat exhangers, held a ground breaking ceremony for its new 51,100 square foot corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in the Commerce Centre at Pabst Farms.
Aug -- AURORA HEALTH CARE settlement agreement reached with the Oconomowoc Common Council clearing the way for a new hospital to be built at the southeast corner of I-94 and Highway 67. It will anchor the new Health & Wellness Center at Pabst Farms.
May -- M&I Bank held a brick-laying dedication ceremony marking the building of a new full-service banking facility specializing in wealth management services in the mixed-use Village Square at Pabst Farms. A fall opening is planned.
2005
Dec -- M&I BANK announced an agreement with Pabst Farms to pursue the opening of a new full-service M&I Bank. The 13,000 s.f. facility will specialize in wealth management services and will locate in the mixed-use Village Square at Pabst Farms.
May -- HARLEY-DAVIDSON dealership opened its doors in the Commerce Centre at Pabst Farms. Bikers from around the country celebrated at its 3-day open house in June.
Jan -- ROUNDY'S DISTRIBUTION CENTER opened in the Commerce Centre at Pabst Farms. At nearly 1.1 million square feet, it is one of the largest state-of-the-art distribution facilities in Wisconsin.

Pabst Farms Makes Donations to Oconomowoc High School
At a special gala event celebrating the opening of the new Oconomowoc Arts Center, Pabst Farms was recognized for its major gift of $30,000, the largest donation for the facility to date. Pabst Farms also donated over $1,000 to the high school's musical performance trip to Florida during the 2009/10 school year.
2008/09 School Year
New Oconomowoc Intermediate Schools
Two new intermediate schools opened for the 2008/09 school year as part of a $49.6 million referendum --Silver Lake Intermediate School and Nature Hill Intermediate School
New Facilities at Oconomowoc High School
Also part of the referendum, a new state-of-the-art 750 s.f. Performing Arts Center and an expansive Field House for hosting indoor track meets opened at the high school this year. Outstanding current programs include the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program, Project Lead-the-Way Engineering, a nationally recognized pre-engineering program, and a fully state certified Nursing Assistant Program.
Summit Elementary School Expands Popular Programs
For the 2008/09 school year Summit is expanding its popular 4-year old pre-kindergarten program. The K-4 school is extending its school day instruction by 20 minutes, allowing for more classroom and physical instruction as well as increased time for technology instruction. |
